Time Out Market Miami is throwing a summer party—and you’re invited

Barbecues, picnics, happy hours on the roof – all signs that summer has come, just not in Miami. Our reality is rain, thunderstorms, moisture and the occasional sunny, humid days. We don’t complain, we love it here. We know how to make the most of the season, and luckily, Time Out Market Miami too.

On July 9th, our editorially curated culinary destination invites you to take cover and take part in * the * party of the summer. All you have to do is bring yourself to this beach party because we got everything under control. We bring you the tropics with delicious frozen cocktails (delightful side dishes and everything!) And complement the additional hours of the day with an all-day happy hour. From the time we open at 4:00 p.m. to the moment we close our doors at 11:00 p.m., specialty cocktails are $ 8, wine is $ 7, and beer is $ 5 . And like all great days on the sand, expect the market to fill up with music from some of our favorite local DJs.

Food is the main event of this party, and we have everything you need for summer, from delicious tacos at La Santa Taqueria to a juicy cheeseburger at Kush and a refreshing ice cream cone at Azucar. We’re also bringing the Local Cuban back! The makers of some of Miami’s best croquetas are returning to the market on July 9th and staying permanent to satisfy your future Latin American food cravings. There is one name that you will not recognize immediately, but which you will not forget after a taste: Chick’n Jones. Celebrity chef Amaris Jones makes her big market debut on July 7th and will be ready to serve her superb fried chicken to all party goers on Friday. There will be more on their delicious menu in the coming days so stay tuned. You will want to try their food first.

We won’t reveal all of the surprises for the coming Friday except that we will have a tattoo artist on site for those who finally want to have an adorable stenciled pizza on their wrist. It wouldn’t be summer if you didn’t make some questionable decisions, would it? Get the pizza and maybe an ice cream? Tattoos will only cost $ 20 a pop.

Summer in the City starts on July 9th from 4pm to 11pm. Everyone is welcome and parking is available on the street and in the garage, which is only $ 6 (for two hours) with market validation. See you there – rain or shine!
