This might be the prettiest salad shop in Miami

WYNWOOD, Florida. – It’s no secret that the Miami neighborhood of Wynwood is known for art-covered walls, murals, and impressive graffiti – so it makes sense that the neighborhood’s newest healthy addition is just as colorful.

On Tuesday, June 15th, sweetgreen will open its third location in Miami in the Wynwood district.

A look at the new restaurant at 2621 NW 2nd Ave. shows, however, that the 3,000 square meter salad shop looks like no other.

The exterior features a large-format mural titled “Drip” by Miami-born artist Jen Stark, which looks like a waterfall of colors and patterns pouring down the building.

To celebrate their third opening in Miami, sweetgreen has teamed up with the artists whose work fills the walls of the new stores (like Amauri Torezan, whose art is on display in their Coconut Grove location) for a giveaway that will also benefit the community returns.

On the opening day of sweetgreen Wynwood, June 15, the first 150 guests who order pick-up via the sweetgreen app at any of the locations in Miami (Coconut Grove, Coral Gables or Wynwood) will receive one from Jen Stark, Amauri. designed ceramic bowl in limited edition Torezan or Elan Byrd.

Each restaurant offers a different bowl and a different artist depending on its location.

In addition, for every bowl sold on Wynwood opening day, sweetgreen will provide a meal to its local impact partner, Health in the Hood, in support of its mission to end food insecurity in underserved neighborhoods.

Each ceramic bowl given away represents an additional meal donated to Health in the Hood.

In addition, sweetgreen will open a fourth location in Miami in the Sunset Harbor district of Miami Beach.
