Stroll and stroll in the Miami Zoo

What does Mardi Gras say better than drinking alcohol in places you probably shouldn’t? Zoo Miami will channel some New Orleans vibes this Saturday with the alcohol-soaked after-hour Shindig Sip & Stroll. Your limbs will (likely) be safe as most animals, aside from some adorable ambassador animals, will be soundly asleep. There will be plenty to feast your eyes on, however. Awesome entertainment options include stilt walkers, unlimited bayou boat rides, karaoke with a live band, food stalls, and other fun. The event is for adults only, so leave the kids at home and bring your ID. 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7 at Miami Zoo, 12400 SW 152nd St., Miami; zoomiami.org. Tickets are priced at $ 20 online and $ 25 at the box office.
