The three day celebration extravaganza included entertainment, food, cocktails and FIREWORKS!

The Wharf co-hosted Friendsgiving on Wednesday November 21st DJ Irie and Collecting non-perishable items for Camillus House. Just a few days earlier, South Florida’s most popular pop-up venue was celebrating its one year anniversary. Located on a curve on the historic Miami River, The Wharf is an open-air special occasion venue that has helped reshape the city’s dynamic local culinary and cultural scene. The venue celebrated grand celebrations and welcomed the South Florida community for three days of festivities.

Since opening in 2017, The Wharf has provided an unparalleled setting in South Florida. The 30,000-square-foot open-air popup has welcomed nearly 1 million visitors who have been to it since its inception. The Wharf has successfully hosted over 350 high quality community events for charities, corporations, organizations, countless birthdays and social gatherings.

With many exciting and notable events including: David Beckham and the MLS, Jackson Memorial Hospital, The United Way, Miami Marlins, Miami Dolphins, Camillus House, Warrior Special Operations Foundation, Harley Davidson, Brickell Magazine, Alzheimer’s Association, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and Foundation, A Sweet Chance Foundation, Abriendo Puertas Foundation, Best Buddies Foundation, Life is Art Foundation, Simon Malls, Baptist Health Foundation, Latin Builders Association, Columbus High School, Deco Drive, New Times, The city of Miami, Time Out Miami, Pamper Yourself Miami, De Hostos Senior Living and the Kristie House Foundation, the best is yet to come.

A year later, Miami’s most sought-after food trucks are still changing regularly on a weekly basis to satisfy both eager palates and the foodie community. Presentation Mojo donuts cracked by Chef Adrianne, La Santa Taqueria, sweet melody ice cream, Spris Artisan Pizza, King of Racks BBQ and a fish market & raw food bar of local seafood favorite Garcias With OG ceviche“Feinschmeckerreihe”, as it may be referred to, has become a favorite place for guests and families to eat well.

“When putting this project together, we never thought the community support would have been so strong. Thanks to public support, we have been able to revitalize much of the Miami River and transform it into a place where friends and families can share special moments, create unforgettable memories, and attend amazing events, ”he said Emi Guerra.

“We couldn’t be happier with the response and appreciate the way the public has accepted our concept,” he explained Alex Mantecon about the milestone.

Crowds of guests came out to take part in the celebrations, some of which were presented by Brickell Magazine, SocialMiami.com, Time Out Miami, and The Miami New Times.

The one-year celebration was a great success. The Wharf welcomes those looking to have a great time outdoors to visit its now “updated” version which includes redesigned areas. The tent structure (which was closed on hot summer days) is now open to guests so you can enjoy Miami’s winter weather.

The Wharf is located at 114 SW North River Drive in Miami, Florida and is open weekly Thursday through Sunday.
