By Dana Rozansky of Miami Food Porn, as told by Virginia Gil

No stranger to the many different neighborhoods this city has to offer – and always keen to find something to eat, drink, and explore – I call home in Brickell. Sure, Brickell has its flaws, like the crazy traffic and seemingly uninterrupted construction, but it also has so much to offer as soon as I step out my door. I can easily enjoy a killer meal, enjoy drinks with a view, take a scenic walk, rely on some solid people to watch and google some of the cutest pups in town, all from the comfort of my hood. If loving Brickell is wrong, I don’t want to be right! Below are some of my Brickell spots:

Raw juice

This is my favorite spot for a healthy morning pick-me-up. The smoothies always hit the bill, and the acai bowls are the best in town. Yes i said so. Try the OMG protein bowl and thank me later.

B bistro

My favorite brunch spot in Brickell is undoubtedly the B Bistro. You can’t go wrong with croissants and pastries or savory dishes. Some of my fan favorites are the Brussels sprouts caesar, the truffle bun, and the pastelito pancakes.

Osaka

I’m basically an Osaka groupie. This Peruvian-Nikkei restaurant has the freshest nigiri and ceviche I’ve ever had. I’ve ordered a snack from Osaka almost every week since the quarantine began. So if this isn’t the ultimate testimony, I don’t know what it is.

LPM Restaurant & Bar

If you want to be transported far away from Brickell, you can enjoy a stylish lunch or dinner on the LPM terrace. The French cuisine, the expertly prepared cocktails and the excellent service always ensure an unforgettable meal. Plus, the take out is 10/10.

CKO Miami

The only reason I can indulge in the meals above is because I start exercising almost every day thanks to CKO Miami. The hour-long kickboxing classes are no joke, and the instructors will give you hard love every step of the way. Rely on a crazy workout, whether it’s in the gym or daily virtual class.

Better days and baby Jane

Was it really an evening if I didn’t have a nightcap on the way home in Better Days AND Baby Jane (yes, and … don’t judge me)? Oh how much I long for these nights Until we meet again – and shots at me for everyone who reads this! (I may regret that later.)
