National Donut Day is back and Miami is ready to celebrate. The holiday, celebrated on the first Friday in June each year, was established by the Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the volunteers who served donuts to soldiers during World War I.
From the limited Blueberry & Passion Fruit creation of the Salty Donut to Mojo Donuts Flantastic treats to freebies at Honeybee Donuts, there are parties, free bites and limited flavors in donut shops across Miami-Dade. Here are the best deals this Friday, June 7th, National Donut Day.
Beat Culture Brewing Company. Head to the brewery this Friday and grab a mini Irish cream donut from Mojo Donuts when you order a Colada Racing Breakfast Stout – an imperial stout made with cold brewed espresso beans, vanilla, and a touch of lactose. Circle House Coffee. If you can’t make it to Mojo Donuts, head to Circle House Coffee, owned by retired NFL linebacker Stephen Tulloch, and shop for donuts courtesy of Mojo. In fact, the cafe is the only place the South Florida-based donut brand has a permanent presence outside of the Pembroke Pines and Bird Road stores in Mojo. Expect a range of flavors, including guava and cheese, butterscotch crunch, bourbon vanilla chip, and raspberry icing for $ 3 to 5 each. Dunkin ‘South Florida. In addition to offering customers a free donut with the purchase of a drink, select South Florida stores are also handing out $ 5 Dunkin gift cards to the first 100 guests who visit participating stores. In addition, two Dunkin locations in the area (350 W Sunrise Blvd., Fort Lauderdale and 7512 S. If Krispy Kreme hits its goal of giving away a million donuts on National Donut Day, customers will be able to sample the brand’s latest flavor for free later in June. Mojo donuts & fried chicken. For National Donut Day, Mojo unveils the Flantastic – a glazed yeast donut with real flan in the middle and sweetened condensed milk. The salty donut. For one day only, the Salty Donut will unveil a limited-edition National Donut Day flavor: the Blueberry & Passion Fruit, available in the brand’s Wynwood and South Miami stores. Every Instagram-worthy donut consists of a 24-hour brioche with blueberries, which is covered with a beautiful passion fruit and blueberry glaze and topped with desiccated coconut, berries, kiwi and dragon fruit.
