The arrest came two days after Miami police released surveillance of the man who assaulted a woman at the luxurious Brickell Flatiron on the 1000 block of SE 1 Avenue.

The woman told police that she had just returned to her apartment building after a jog and that a man followed her into the house and took her into an elevator.

As she got out on her floor, Blackman followed her into her apartment, pushed her inside as she opened the door, then, according to the arrest report, closed the door behind her.

Blackman reportedly pulled a metal bar out of his pants and hit her several times when he requested that she perform a sexual act on him.

Then he ordered her to go into the bedroom and, according to the report, tried to force her onto the bed.

The two fought and at some point the woman was able to grab the bar and Blackman left the bedroom, according to the police.

The woman then locked herself in the bedroom, went to the balcony and yelled for help.

Police said the woman’s actions enabled them to react immediately and get the surveillance video of their attacker.

The surveillance video shows the woman’s attacker getting into the elevator with her and then leaving the building.

Miami police said a member of the public helped them arrest.

“Miami City Police received a tip from a bystander who recognized the issue as being responsible for this case. Investigative means were able to locate the subject successfully and invite him to question the point in time at which he admitted his involvement in this case, ”said a police spokeswoman. “This is a great example of why we encourage the public to reach out to us no matter how small they think the tip is.”
