Publix customers say they are confused and concerned about what happened.
“I heard someone was stabbed to death at Publix,” said customer Anika Cooke. “It’s crazy and it’s sad. Things are opening up right now. This is a great public supermarket. Everyone here is super nice. I hate to hear this happen. I hope he’s fine. “
Another customer named Jay said, “It’s awful. It’s tragic. I hope the person is fine. This is a Publix that I get to all the time. There is a local grocery store and going to a grocery store and getting stabbed is ridiculous. Today’s people need to relax and grow up. It’s not just about them. This is a Hispanic community. Everyone loves each other and there is no need for violence. “
