Hundreds Of Motorcycle Riders Ride From Doral To Key Largo For Good Causes – CBS Miami
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Hundreds of motorcyclists got on their motorcycles Sunday to raise money for a good cause.
More than 400 drivers left the Miami Dade Police Department headquarters in Doral and made their way to Key Largo.

This was her first ride. It was organized by the Police Officer Assistance Trust and the Hispanic Police Officers Association.
They even received a police escort when they drove off.

They say this was even bigger than expected and they were happy to see the support.
“Extremely excited. I can’t believe the turnout. I predicted about 200 bikes and it went way beyond that,” said Carlos Arguelles, president of the Hispanic Police Officers Association.
“It is important for us to have a great ride, enjoy the day among friends and raise money for this great cause,” added Miami Dade Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz.

Your fundraising goal was at least $ 30,000. Proceeds went to both St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the Police Officer Assistance Trust, which helps civil servants and their families in troubled times.
