A CBD pop-up has opened in Wynwood allowing you to swap the generic CBD oil you bought at a gas station for a bottle of the “good” stuff.
The Charlotte’s Web popup allows you to learn more about CBD and purchase a variety of Charlotte’s Web products, including oils, gums, balms, creams, and a range of pet products ($ 15-275). The shop also sells Trust the Earth Swag, including artwork by Studio Number One, which was founded by Shepard Fairey.
The pop-up also offers an educational component that teaches responsible growing of hemp and what to look for when buying CBD. The FDA warns on its website strict warnings about companies that manufacture CBD using unsafe manufacturing processes.
Charlotte’s Web CBD is made from proprietary hemp developed by the Stanley Brothers, a team of seven brothers from Colorado. The company, which completed a public offering in Canada in December 2019, has developed its own strain of hemp to offer health benefits with no psychoactive properties. The company is named after Charlotte Figi, a girl who experienced a decrease in epileptic seizures after her first dose of medical marijuana, as described in the 2013 Weed documentary.

The company is so confident that its CBD is superior to others that it allows people to trade in their CBD products for a bottle of Charlotte’s Web CBD Oil at the pop-up right now until February 1st at the pop-up.
Just bring a bottle of CBD that you are not sure about. A rep will explain the benefits of Charlotte’s web products and then replace your suspicious purchase with a free bottle of the company’s full-spectrum hemp extract with CBD.
The pop-up will run through March 31, and the company will soon announce a special Super Bowl activation. If you think about it, Miamians need a little CBD chill after hundreds of thousands of tourists jammed I-95 during game week.
