Best Tennis Courts 2021 | Polo Park | Best Restaurants, Bars, Clubs, Music and Stores in Miami

Roller skating has re-conquered the country like it was the 1970s. This is especially true in Miami with our swaying palm trees and blue skies – we have the perfect backdrop for a leisurely ride on small wheels. If you enjoy skating outdoors, the cool ocean breezes and optimal sunset views at South Pointe Park will make a great spot. Honorable mentions include Lummus Park, where you can people watch them skate, and Lot 11 Skate Park if you’re more adventurous. But when it comes to the absolute best place to skate, the Super Wheels Skating Center takes the cake. The indoor roller track is a Miami landmark that opened in 1987 under its former name, Hot Wheels Skating Center. Not much has changed – the rink has kept its retro look alive. Think disco balls, colorful strobe lights, Memphis-themed carpets, and glow-in-the-dark art on the walls. Super Wheels ensures fun with themed evenings and events as well as guest DJs such as DJ Laz. If you’re a fan of nostalgia, don’t miss the Adult Nights, which take place every Monday, when hits from the 70s and 80s predominate. Even if you didn’t grow up in Miami at the time, you can escape to another era when skaters slid across the wooden floor to Debbie Deb, Afrika Bambaataa and Michael Jackson.
