ADL hosted 2019 Miami Jurisprudence Award Luncheon

The Jurisprudence Award was created to recognize individuals who ADL believes have made outstanding contributions to the legal profession and the community at large, and to illustrate the principles on which the organization was founded. Prize winners at lunch were Hilarie Bass, President and Founder of the Bass Institute for Diversity & Inclusion; Wifredo A. Ferrer, Chairman of Holland & Knight LLP’s Global Compliance and Investigations Team and former US attorney for the Southern District of Florida; and the late Randall C. Berg Jr., co-founder and executive director of the nonprofit Florida Justice Institute for Civil Rights from its inception in 1978 until his retirement in 2019, in special posthumous recognition.
