The accident occurred around 5:15 a.m. in the lanes of I-95 on Northwest 103rd Street, heading north

According to the Florida Department of Highway Safety, the Road Ranger truck blocked the left fast lane while helping clear the site of a previous accident when the Tesla hit the truck.

The Miami-Dade firefighters responded and took both passengers in the Road Ranger to Jackson North Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Tesla was brought to the Ryder Trauma Center with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Officials said the road ranger activated traffic cones, emergency lights and an arrow sign to block the lane.

The crash is still being investigated.
