1 injured after Miramar home barraged with gunfire – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports
MIRAMAR, FLA. (WSVN) – A family feared after a person was shot dead when their home in Miramar was shot at.
Filming took place shortly after 1 a.m. on Friday on the 6000 block of Southwest 24th Street.
The surveillance video sent to 7News showed the moment a shooter pointed his gun at the house and fired several times.
The homeowner said it was her son’s friend who was shot. He is expected to be fine.
“I just heard like, ‘Blah! ‘and I looked at my husband, and the next thing I hear is:’ Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah! ‘”Said homeowner Ebony Moore. “I could only jump up. The first thing I did was run in my living room and it was full of smoke. I just packed my baby because she was on the couch. I packed my baby. “
Several bullet holes were visible in the windows of the house.
A witness said they believe an AK-47 and .40 caliber were used in the shooting.
No arrests were made.
The police are now investigating the shooting.
