$1.8M sky lounge designed by Koko Architecture + Design debuts in Miami

A $ 1.8 million Sky Lounge was unveiled on Tuesday on the eleventh floor of Miami Tower in Miami.

The unveiling was made by Transwestern, who manages the floor-to-ceiling glass property for Sumitomo Corporation of Americas.

The Sky Lounge is part of the 5,500 square meter Sky Lobby. Amenities include three bars, a banquet seating area, a 1,700 square foot commercial kitchen, and a conference room for 20 people.

The 13,000 square meter open-space sky lounge includes sofas, hanging pod chairs and tables for every event – whether social or professional.

The open space was designed by Koko Architecture + Design, a duo who say the Sky Lounge’s furniture and curves are inspired by clouds.

Miami Mayor Francis Suarez and Consul General Ken Okaniwa were among the 100 community leaders present.
